This privacy policy applies to Neotera apps and web sites in general. Note that there are some specific differences for the Stuff and Things task manager app as noted.
We use cookies and other data to personalize content, to provide social media features, and to analyze our traffic. Some of these cookies also help improve your user experience on our websites, assist with navigation and your ability to provide feedback, and assist with our promotional and marketing efforts. We may store your username (your email) and a password for some of our games and/or to control access to content. No other information is stored besides your email and password. This information is not shared with any 3rd party.
For Stuff and Things we store a username (your email address) and a password if you are using an account on our server. The password is processed by a one-way algorithm meaning it is not stored in plain text format and we can’t access the original password. Tasks and any task information is also stored on our servers if you are using an account and these are stored in plain text. If you are using Stuff and Things in local mode on your device (not logged in), all information is stored locally on your device and none is stored or accessed by us.
Our servers are physically located in the United States of America.
Our Services are not targeted to children under thirteen (13) years of age and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete such personal information from our systems. Of course, we do not actually collect any personal information from anyone anyway (other than your email if you register with us).
We do not store any information that you can not directly access yourself.
If you request the deletion of your account and any related information we will be happy to do so.
We will disclose information to law enforcement agencies, public authorities, or other judicial bodies and organizations if legally required to do so.
Other than legally required situations, we do not share any information with any 3rd party other than Hubspot and Google as noted below.
We use Hubspot to let people sign up for our mailing list. This information is not shared with any other 3rd party. You can learn more about Hubspot's privacy policies on their web site.
We use Google Analytics to track usage of our web site. We will not and will not assist or permit any third party to, pass information to Google that Google could use or recognize as personally identifiable information. For more infromation, please refer to Google's description of "How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps".
